Kejora is a beautifully animated narrative-driven puzzle platforming adventure where a young girl uncovers a dreadful secret and is pursued by monstrous creatures.
In Kejora a young girl and her two friends are going about their day when they stumble across giant inky black monsters roaming a nearby forest. The monsters are unknown to the village inhabitants that go about their daily routines. So it looks like you’ll have to get to the bottom of the mystery.
The Kejora demo is heavily narrative-driven and sees you exploring the village and helping out villagers before discovering the monsters in the forest. You have two friends with you who you can call on to use their abilities (such as giving you a boost or hurling rocks at creatures). They’ll come in handy as you solve puzzles, make traps and sneak past monsters.
The dialogue could do with a once-over, the pacing is quite slow and the companion system is a little clunky, but there’s a lot to like about Kejora. The mystery of the monsters is intriguing, the characters are engaging and the animation is superb (particularly the cut-scenes). See how you fare in Kejora’s spooky woods.
