L: An Interactive Mystery is a narrative based mystery game that sees you solving the disappearance of your daughter by searching for information in her phone.
L: An Interactive Mystery plays a little like A Normal Lost Phone and Sara Is Missing, with you taking on the role of a concerned mother who is searching though her missing daughter’s phone to find out where she is. However, you only have a set amount of memory on the phone so have to delete files and apps to be able to download new ones. To make things worse, you don’t have a charger and every time you install an app it consumes power. This means that you’ll have to pay very close attention to any information in an app before you delete it as you may not be able to download it again.
As you trawl through the apps, messages and images on your daughter’s phone you’ll solve puzzles and learn more about her life, her relationship with her family, her girlfriend, where she is and why she’s there. It’s a great piece of storytelling with some excellent writing and voice acting throughout as your daughter’s life, loves and fears are all laid bare as you unravel the mystery of her disappearance. Highly recommended.
