Moncage is a very cleverly built perspective based puzzler where you attempt to align 3 dimensional scenes depicted on sides of a cube, so that they can interact with each other.
In Moncage you explore scenes that take place on a secluded island and an abandoned factory. Various scenes from the game’s world are depicted on a mysterious cubic device (the Moncage). Your only form of interaction with the world is that you can rotate the Moncage and align certain elements of different scenes to cause them to interact. This can then cause scenes to change slightly or entirely new scenes to open up.
It’s early in development and doesn’t have a narrative or any sound yet, but it’s a cleverly crafted game with stylish minimalist aesthetics and inventive puzzles that are fondly reminiscent of The Witness and Monument Valley. A beautiful, stylish and puzzling box of perspective based trickery well worth delving into. Highly recommended.
