Muffles’ Life Sentence is a darkly humorous horror RPG adventure set in a prison where inmates are remade to reflect their crimes.
In Muffles’ Life Sentence you play as Muffles – a faceless inmate with no memory of their past. You’re a new inmate in a prison where everyone’s faces are transformed to reflect their crimes – you’re heavily disfigured and don’t even have a mouth, but you don’t know why as you can’t remember your crimes. You now need to explore the prison, find out more about your past, find a way to murder the warden and escape.
At the moment the turn-based battles go on for too long and lack tactical depth, but other than that Muffles’ Life Sentence is a very entertaining adventure. It’s packed full of interesting characters, the lore is intriguing and the pixel artwork is excellent. A very weird prison you’ll enjoy being locked up in.
