Ninza is a beautifully animated and very fast paced competitive multiplayer action game where Ninjas attempt to throw pieces of the level at each other to crush them or hurl them off-screen.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, Ninza as a fantastic competitive multiplayer action game where the environment is your weapon. It’s playable with up to four players (or against bots), and sees players whacking the blocks that make up the level at each other, with an aim of crushing them for hurling them out of auto-scrolling procedurally generated level.
The current Beta build doesn’t have online play or its single-player campaign mode implemented yet, but it does have a lot of content to keep you busy. It features four different environments, five unique playable characters and four different game modes (playable against humans or bots). The characters all control very differently too, not just in regards to their attacks, but also the way they move.
It’s a very addictive game that manages to capture the sort of free-for-all multiplayer chaos that made the Bomberman games so special. The gameplay is fast, fun and very addictive and a special shoutout has to go to the hand animated artwork that looks absolutely incredible. Even in its current Beta form it’s already in the one of the most entertaining competitive multiplayer party games around and it’s only going to get better. Highly recommended.
