Override 2: Super Mech League is a carnage-filled multiplayer mech combat game where up to four players beat the crap out of each other in destructible environments.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta Sign Up, Override 2: Super Mech League is a fast paced and chaotic multiplayer mech combat game for up to four players. It takes place in a world where humanity built massive combat mechs to save the world from an alien threat. That threat was vanquished seven years ago though, so now the mechs are used to entertain the masses in global mech battle leagues.
The current build of Override 2: Super Mech League features local or online 1v1, 2v2 and free-for-all battles, five destructible environments and seven playable characters (two more have been added since the closed Beta). It’s extremely chaotic, but (perhaps unsurprisingly) giant robots beating each other up is a lot of fun. It’s available until October 13th, so jump in now to start sending your rivals to the scrapheap.
Note: If you’re struggling to keep up with the action you may want to enable the “use manual lock” option in the options menu as the automatic snapping between nearby opponents can be pretty disorientating.
