Pagefault is a cleverly crafted puzzle platforming adventure that takes place in multiple different applications on a faux Windows desktop.
In Pagefault your aim is simply to open document file, but it’s corrupted and won’t open when you click on in. Thankfully there’s a system administrator on call that sends you applications and talks you through the process of fixing the document – which involves a blend of platforming, binary code cracking and using different applications that interact with each other.
It’s a very clever concept that makes great use of the faux desktop environment and has some very creative puzzle design. Sure, the simple act of opening a document file may be extremely complicated in this operating system, but it still works better than Windows Vista!
