Portal to the Cosmobeat is a rhythm-based dancing action game where you have direct control of your limbs as you face off in dance battles across the galaxy.
In Portal to the Cosmobeat you are a young dance enthusiast who is given a magic ribbon by his mother and sent out into the galaxy to take part in epic dance battles. The dance battles blend freestyle and mimicking of your rival’s moves. You can hold the W,A,S,D,Z or X keys to select different body parts and then you use the mouse to swing them around, with you earning more points for your accuracy.
The Portal to the Cosmobeat demo features an entertaining intro and the first dance battle. It’s a lot of fun and really impresses with its vibrant visuals, witty humor and quirky characters. The movement system is a particular highlight and manages to be intuitive, whilst also allowing for plenty of control of your character. A very groovy inter-planetary dance battler well worth getting down with.
