Project: Battle is essentially another Fortnite knock off for iOS and Android devices from NetEase (creators of the now defunct FortCraft), which features last man standing battle royale gameplay with vehicles, Sci-Fi weapons and building mechanics.
Unfortunately FortCraft seems to have been shut down (possibly due to Epic Games being a little displeased about it being a blatant Fortnite clone), but don’t worry, you can still get your fix of Fortnite-style battle royale fun on the go with Project: Battle. It seems to have a few minor cosmetic differences from FortCraft (and Fortnite), but the gameplay is pretty much the same.
Project: Battle is set in the near future, within a quantum virtual world where players can use quantum cube energy to instantly build structures. It sees players fighting to be the last one standing, using futuristic weaponry, vehicles, building and tactical camouflage to help get the drop on their opponents.
It’s unlikely iOS owners will be lining up to play Project: Battle as they already have access to Fortnite. Android owners however, are still waiting for Epic’s world conquering battle royale survival shooter to come to their devices, so Project: Battle may help tide them over until then!
