Purrkour is a great Unreal Engine 4 powered cat parkour game where you frolic, pounce, and claw your way through an expensive pad, in pursuit of every cat’s dream – getting someplace really high.

Much like Catlateral Damage, there’s a great amount of fun to be had from smashing up your owners apartment, with paintings, vases, bottles and glasses all ready to feel your feline wrath.  In Purrkour, You’re also given objectives, such as claiming cardboard boxes for your own or collecting kitty coins in hidden or hard to reach areas.  To manage these objectives you you’ll need to use your purrkour skills, including a comical looking jump, wall running and climbing up walls with your claws.

Purrkour was created for the rpgmakerweb Indie Game Contest and is still early in development, with plans to further develop the parkour systems and add new content and levels.  It’s already thoroughly enjoyable though – It’s such good fun being a bad cat.

NOTE: Purrkour is still very early in development and does still suffer from some bugs and optimisation issues.  The Purrkour devs are working hard to fix these issues, but if you have any issues please contact them here, Facebook or via Twitter

        • Yeah, go to PurrkourProject/Binaries/Win32 and open PurrkourProject.exe

          Apologies it’s been a month since I covered this gme for Alpha Beta Gamer, There isn’t a fullscreen toggle yet. I was playing it on a 1366 x 768 resolution screen at the time so it was pretty much fullscreen at the time.

          Hope this helps and hope you enjoy the game. Please bear in mind that Purrkour is still very early in development and will have some bugs and optimistaion issues. The devs are working hard to sort them and bring additional features to the game. :)

  6. neither of the links are working, the first “HERE” leads to a video software download and the second “HERE” leads to a Google doc that is not downloading. It’s unfortunate, I was looking forward to playing the game. :(

    • Hi! The first link does work, it’s just one of those awkward download sites that has ‘download’ everywhere so you’re not sure where to click. The 2nd link is down as there have been too many downloads lately, but it should work again soon.

      I’ve added the devs 3rd download link. Please read what the dev says on the page of the 3rd link – Google Chrome blocks the download so you will have to use another browser to download it.

  7. Hey there, as long as i live in France, our keyboard are AZERTY and not QWERTY, so we don’t use WASD but ZQSD for playing games, i would like to know if it would be possible to put a keybinding menu, because i can’t play Purrkour! Anyways, great project, keep your work up!

    • Hi! Sorry I don’t think there is any way to change the key bindings at the moment. I guess you could possibly temporarily change your keyboard localisation settings in windows though (although I’ve never tried it). Hope this helps! :)

  9. Hey so I downloaded everything and I tried the downloads from all three links but when I tried to run the application I received a message saying “X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing” and it wouldn’t run. Any helpful tips?

  10. Hi! When I try to run PurrkourProject, an error comes that says, “The program can’t start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer.” What am I doing wrong and is there any way to fix this?

  13. Great Game. Very Very Funny! I Had No Problems Installing. I Might Get a New Computer So It will Be Deleted. I Might Comment Again If I Cannot Get It On My New Computer. Also, Does This Game Work On Laptops? If Not Its Fine :D

    • Glad you like it! It should be able to work on a laptop (it worked purrrfectly well on mine), but as you can see from the comments above, nothing is guaranteed! :)

  14. Gameplay seems really choppy for me, like when I see videos of other people playing it, it’s smooth. I have win 7 and a Nvidia GT 555M and core i7 processor, is it because I have a 64 bit system and not 32 bit?
