Quantum League is a competitive 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer shooter where you play alongside previous recordings of yourself and make time paradoxes as you attempt to outwit and outgun your opponents.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta, Quantum League is a time-bending multiplayer FPS where you play alongside previous recordings of yourself. In each round of a match your aim is to kill your opponent, BUT if you kill them then they have a chance to prevent their death in the next round by shooting your recording (Time Clone) from the previous round. It’s all very confusing, but the tutorial does a good job of explaining it all.
The Quantum League open Beta features deathmatch and capture the point game modes, playable in 1v1 or 2v2 multiplayer. There’a a selection of six playable characters, each with an assortment of unlockable outfits, and at the start of each round you can choose from one of five different weapons (rifle, SMG, shotgun, laser and grenade launcher).
It does take a while to wrap your head around the time-bending mechanics, but once you get to grips with it then it’s a lot of fun and it makes for a very strategic take on the traditional first person arena shooter. Highly recommended.
