Rad Mac is a fun little top-down roguelike racing game that gives whole new meaning to the phrase “blood Drive” as you try to survive for as long as possible in a blood powered car.
Created for Ludum Dare 44, Rad Mac takes place in a Mad Max esque post-apocalyptic wasteland where cars are powered by blood. You need to try and stay alive for as long as possible by collecting blood bags and mowing down pedestrians and collecting their blood. A little like Carmageddon you earn score combos for kills and every now and again you’ll be given a choice of stackable random upgrades to choose from – such as better tyres or a more efficient engine.
It’s a simple little game but it’s great for a bit of fast paced pedestrian splatting arcade racing fun. It’s pretty tough too – you’ll need to drive fast and precisely to survive in this post-apocalyptic blood splattered wasteland.
