PC, Xbox, Playstation and Stadia users can now sign up to Beta test Riders Republic, a new Steep-esque massively multiplayer sports playground from Ubisoft, where players can explore and race in using bikes, skis, snowboards, jetpacks, paragliders and wingsuits.
Looking quite similar to Steep, but with less of a focus on snow and the addition of bikes and jetpacks, Riders Republic is a massively multiplayer sandbox where players can compete in different outdoor sports. Its huge open world looks very diverse and is based on real US national parks Bryce Canyon, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain, Grand Teton and Yosemite Valley. You’ll be able to share the beautiful environments with over fifty players simultaneously and compete in PvP and team-based races.
It looks like a real step up from Steep, with large scale 50 player races, more diverse environments and some new modes of transport to try your hand at. The mountain-biking looks especially fun and jetpacking through canyons looks like a blast. Sign up for the beta to be one of the first to take to the slopes!
