RoboCraft Royale is a very cool twist on battle royale warfare as 100 players attempt to be the last one standing in a large island filled with fully destructible modular vehicles to commandeer and blow up opponent with.
Currently in development by the creators of the popular robot building/combat game RoboCraft, RoboCraft Royale does away with all the hassle of building robots and focuses on the best part – blowing them up. 100 players start the game in a basic little off-road vehicle and must search for the hundreds of unique vehicles that are scattered around the island.
There’s a wide selection of different vehicles to find, all pre-built by the RoboCraft community, ranging from light off road vehicles to tanks, mechs, helicopters and mecha-dinosaurs. When you come across a vehicle you’d like to use, you simply jump into it and take it for a spin. Size isn’t everything, mobility and precision can be just as important. Each vehicle takes modular damage too – so you can target weapons or movement systems to neutralise and incapacitate them.
Every man and his dog are jumping on the PUBG bandwagon now, but RoboCraft Royale certainly has potential. It’s essentially a 100 player free-for-all robot wars, which sounds like it could be a real blast. Sign up for the Alpha now to join in the robo-wrecking battle royale action.
