Room2Room is a clever pseudo-augmented reality horror game where you playtest a handheld gaming console that creates games within your house.
In Room2Room you have been contracted to playtest a new handheld console that’s had a few teething problems – children have been going missing. You can travel between the various rooms in the house and if you activate the console it will create a PSX styled version of the room you’re in and populate it with different things, such as characters and puzzle elements.
There are three characters to meet in the demo, each of which has a different game/puzzle to complete. They;re all quite friendly, but if you fail a game you’ll lose a life and there’s also the small matter of the freaky shadowy entity that keeps invading the house!
It’s a very unique game that has some great ideas and can get pretty intense as you attempt to complete games while dealing with the intruder. The Room2Room gaming system definitely has a few nasty flaws to iron out!
