Silence Channel is an atmospheric first person horror adventure where you solve puzzles and unravel the mystery of a creepy old house with a dark past.
In Silence Channel you step into the shoes of a journalist who is investigating a dilapidated house that’s the site of some mysterious deaths and disappearances. When you get there the fact the gate opens of its own accord isn’t enough to deter you from going in and you soon find yourself trapped in there and must make your way through its creepy shifting hallways to try and escape.
The current build of Silence Channel takes around 15 minutes to play through and has a few rough edges, but has an interesting setting and some great scares. It’s mostly a linear ghost house experience, though there is a little puzzle solving that adds a nice bit of challenge.
There are some real issues with the voice acting and the lack of lighting, but it shows a lot of promise. It’s got a tense atmosphere, the puzzles are well designed and the way it alters the environment when you’re not looking is very cool. A creepy haunted house well worth exploring.
