Siphonogore is a bloody and fleshy roguelite dungeon crawler set within the hollow husk of a sleeping god.
Taking place in a world of calloused and rotten meat, in Siphonogore you are a creature that sets out to be the successor of a decaying god. The game features a blend of turn-based combat and choose your own adventure elements where you make decisions during randomized events.
You have a customizable body which is made up of three parts that you can swap out and upgrade with new abilities. Battles take place against other three-part creatures you meet, with the parts being designed to work both independently and together.
The heath bars could do with being reduced a bit, as at the moment battles feel a bit like a war of attrition. Aside from that though, it’s a very promising game. The lore and creatures of the fleshy world is intriguing, the choose your own adventure elements work well and the grotesque meaty artwork is excellent. A wonderfully grotesque roguelite adventure.
