Solace Creek is a narrative-driven retro styled third person horror adventure set in an eerie darkness-enshrouded research facility that’s haunted by a monstrous presence.
In Solace Creek you are a young woman who wakes up in a room in a research facility with a mysterious spilled liquid beside her and a roll of coins. As you explore the facility you soon find that it’s home to a strange shadowy entity that will hunt you down and kill you if it catches sight of you. You’ll also unravel the mystery of the facility, “The Void” and the strange coins you woke up with in your possession.
It has one of those annoying flashlights that only last for a couple of minutes for no apparent reason, but aside from that Solace Creek is a very promising game. The audio design is particularly impressive and the story is very engaging. By the end of the demo you’ll be dying to unravel more of Solace Creek’s shadowy secrets.
