Somnifuge is a puzzle-focused PS1 styled horror adventure where you enter a creepy old haunted mansion with a note saying “Free Us”.
Drawing inspiration from Alone in the Dark and Silent Hill, Somnifuge is a first person horror adventure filled with cryptic puzzles. The demo takes around 15 minutes to play through and sees you using video tapes and other clues to open doors that give you more access to the vast mansion.
It’s a well crafted horror adventure with creative puzzle design, nice PS1 inspired visuals, a tense atmosphere and some very scary moments. The mansion is an interesting place to explore and by the end you’ll be dying to discover more of its secrets.
