Speaking Simulator is a very weird physics based game where you control the tongue, lips and face of an undercover robot who is attempting to infiltrate the human world.
The goal in Speaking Simulator is to convince the humans you meet that you are not a robot. Key to this deception is your ability to communicate with the humans, but your robot kind haven’t quite yet mastered the art of conversation. You do know that talking has something to do with waving your wet tongue around and stretching your lips a bit – it can’t be that hard can it?
In Speaking Simulator you’ll take your undercover android through ten different social scenarios (job interviews, eulogies, romantic conversations, etc), where you attempt to control your tongue, lips and face well enough to converse well and fool the humans. Making errors will cause your face to glitch out in some hilarious ways, while success will be rewarded with facial upgrades – such as the ability to smile or raise an eyebrow.
It’s a wonderfully ridiculous looking game that should offer up lots of physics based hilarity, social silliness and random robotic glitches. Sign up for the Speaking Simulator beta to see if you’re an eloquent enunciator or an awful orator!
