Spellbreak – Pre-Alpha Sign Up

Spellbreak is a magic-focused multiplayer battle royale RPG with gorgeous visuals and a deep spell-casting system that allows players to combine spells for some devastating effects.

We first featured Spellbreak on Alpha Beta Gamer back in June before it had an official name. Details are still a little scarce as it’s under an NDA, but it’s a battle royale game from the creators of Streamline, with RPG elements and spell-casting combat that allows for lots of variety and strategy.

In the game you can equip gauntlets that give you access to two unique elemental attacks each (one quick and one powerful). These attacks can do plenty of damage on their own, but what’s interesting about Spellbreak is that you can combine them to create some even more powerful attacks – such as casting a wall of fire then throwing a boulder through it to turn it into molten rock.

It’s a promising game, with gorgeous visual design and deep spell-casting combat that should add a little strategy and magic to the battle royale genre. Sign up for the pre-alpha to grab your spell-casting gauntlets early.
