Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks) is a fun block stacking game full of random madness in which you use a psychic hat to pile blocks as high as possible across a variety of unique game modes.
All was happy and peaceful in your land until blocks started raining down from the sky. People were getting splatted, but then you had the idea to make a special psychic hat to control the fall of the blocks. That way, you can make sure they all fall into a designated area instead of hurting the people of your land.
In the main story mode of the game, you are to stack towers up to a specific height, without dropping too many on the ground. This might sound like an easy task, but with the amount of blocks and the timer always ticking down, it can be quite tricky!
Sounds pretty sane so far doesn’t it? Well wait until you come across the spinning block with different pictures on it! This wonderfully weird little block will throw an unexpected twist into your game; like a giant fish general who replaces your blocks with stinky fish, a dragon breathing fire at the tower which you must defend, a new block appearing that you have to pick the size of, and much more.
As you move on through story mode, you will also unlock different foundations for your tower, some of which are not as flat and straightforward as you had before. You must learn to adapt and continue to stack higher and higher. Once you have made the height required, in another nice touch, you’re are then given a wrecking ball to smash it all down!
As well as the story mode, Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks) also features local mulitplayer co-op and versus modes, a classic mode that has you building a tower without dropping a single block onto the ground and an endless mode that has you building the ultimate tower without a required height.
Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks) impresses with its fun block dropping gameplay, ridiculous random events and fun sense of humor. A wacky tower building game that stacks up very well indeed.
