Subscribe & Punch! – Kickstarter Demo

Subscribe & Punch! is a fun new fighting game in which wacky versions of popular YouTubers roast each other in easily accessible 1v1 battles in the ‘YouFight’ universe.

In Subscribe & Punch! players will be able to choose between parody versions of popular YouTubers, such as Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, CinnamonToastKen and Markiplier, then duke it out in themed arenas in a colourful cartoon universe. The full game promises at least five characters (with more depending on stretch goals), as well as unlockables and fun little easter eggs such as Goat Simulator themed projectiles.

The current build of Subscribe & Punch! features two playable characters – ‘Poodiepie’ and ‘ToastyKen’. ToastyKen still has some placeholder animation but he’s still a bit of a badass, while for some reason Poodiepie looks like a 12 year old boy. Obviously the combat lacks the depth of a the likes of the Street Fighter games, but it’s still fun to pick up and play – the animation is great, it has a nice sense of humor and it could be a real blast once it’s fleshed out with more characters, more modes and online play. A Let’s Play fighter well worth (let’s) playing.
