Super Buckyball Tournament is a character-based Rocket League-esque physics based multiplayer sport game where teams of robots and augmented humans face off in futuristic arenas.
The objective in Super Buckyball Tournament is similar to Rocket League, with teams of three attempting to knock an oversized ball into their opponent’s goal. There are some significant differences though – most notably the fact that players take control of characters who are much more maneuverable than cars and also have unique special abilities that can suit them for playing in different areas of the arena (such as being able to block a shot with an ice wall or pull off a perfect curve-shot from distance.).
Passing is also much easier in Super Buckyball Tournament, with you able to precisely pass to teammates rather than just knock it in their general direction. There are also various different stadiums to play in, each of which has their own unique items and and effects that can affect how matches play out.
It’s a great looking game and well worth checking out for a bit of futuristic arena ball sport fun. The Alpha launches on August 31st so sign up now to be one of the first into the arena!
