Super Void is a wonderfully weird dual control arcade shooter with a touch of WarioWare madness, where you mboe your character with the keyboard and interact with objects using the mouse.
In Super Void the stage sequences are “cut up” to create an abstract non-linear arcade shooter experience. In the game you control the movement your character using the WASD keys and a control a special cursor with the mouse. This cursor can be used to activate crystals (so you can collect them), activate certain mechanisms and aim your shots in later levels.
It takes around 15 minutes to play through the current build of Super Void and it’s a very surreal and intense experience that assaults your senses. The visuals are very trippy and the level design is very creative, with each one being a little mini-puzzle that you have to figure out how to interact with before you can beat it.
The Super Void prototype is quite old now so a full release may never see the light of day, but even as it stands its a very impressive and unique 15 minute experience. A tough, trippy and totally bonkers little arcade puzzle shooter well worth checking out.
