Supraland is a cheerful and charming first person metroidvania that draws inspiration from Mario, Metroid, Portal and Zelda, with you battling monsters, solving puzzles and earning new abilities as red and blue stickpeople go to war!
Currently in development by the team behind Supraball (and set in the same universe), Supraland sees you taking control of a red stickman prince who sets out to kick some blue stickman ass after they sabotage your town’s water supply. Getting to the Blue stickman village won’t be easy though – there’s lots of cute little monsters to battle and puzzles to solve along the way.
The current build is tagged as a pre-pre-pre-Alpha demo, but in reality it’s already a very polished and enjoyable experience that offers around 2 to 3 hours of gameplay. As you progress you unlock a wide variety of useful abilities that can aid your survival and help you access new areas. It features a vast open world that allows the player to figure out things for themselves and go where they want to go. It plays a little like Metroid Prime, but with colorful cartoony landscapes and charming stickmen characters.
Even in this early stage of development it’s a joy exploring he cheerful and colorful world of Supraland. There’s lots to discover and it rewards you with meaningful rewards with every secret you find. A light hearted and well crafted metroidvania adventure. We highly recommend taking a trip to Supraland.
