Tamarindos Freaking Dinner is a clinically insane first person time-looping horror adventure where an interplanetary pizza delivery guy attempts to escape a house without being eaten.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, Tamarindos Freaking Dinner follows the story of a pizza delivery guy who is killed by the customers he was delivering to. He’s now stuck in a time-loop within and vast 50 room mansion, and must now figure out how to escape alive before he dies (and there are LOTS of ways to die!)
The gameplay in Tamarindos Freaking Dinner is a little like Majora’s Mask with a touch of Maniac Mansion. The time ticks away in real-time (as in Majora’s Mask), with different events happening and characters moving throughout the day. You need to explore, chat to the residents, avoid the homicidal ones, collect useful objects and solve puzzles. You won’t be able to escape in the demo, but you’ll be able to find three different weird ways to die!
Tamarindos Freaking Dinner is the sort of game that needs a new word created especially for it as saying it’s “weird” really doesn’t cut it. It assaults your senses with a crazy assortment of audio and visual stimuli. Everything feels slightly off-kilter as you explore the mansion and the level of environmental detail is incredible. It can be a little overwhelming, but it makes for a very unique and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended
