Terror of Hemasaurus is a fantastic looking Rampage inspired retro city smash ‘em up where you take control of giant monsters and cause massive amounts of carnage as you unleash terror on mankind.
Currently in development by Loren Lemcke (creator of Super Blood Hockey and Over 9000 Zombies!), is a beautifully animated throwback to the classic Rampage arcade games, where you take control of giant monsters and cause untold carnage in built up city environments. The gameplay is pretty similar to the Rampage games, with you able to climb and destroy buildings, wreck vehicles and eat people, but the environments are larger and more detailed and the level of on-screen carnage has ramped up significantly since Midway’s classic games.
Terror of Hemasaurus is playable with up to four players, with players able to take control of a selection of different monsters – The Hemasaurus (essentially a cute looking Godzilla), The Mecha-Hemasaurus, A giant lizard and (most excitingly) an adorable giant sloth! Each character has their own unique abilities and in multiplayer you can interact with each other in fun ways – such as hurling humans across the screen for another player to eat!
It looks like an absolute blast to play and is essentially the game you always wanted Rampage to be. Retro city smashing arcade action with the carnage turned up to 11. Sign up for the Beta for a chance to join in the fun!
