The Prism is a fun new puzzle platformer about 2 pixels (02 and 03) trying to find their way out of a living prism, that watches their every move.
The game plays like a cross between Thomas Was Alone and Brothers, with you controlling the two pixels independently (WASD controls one and the Arrow Keys control the other). As you progress, you’ll unlock new abilities, such as freezing pixels in mid-air (effectively turning them into floating platforms), creating clones in a duplicator or increasing their size – allowing for some unique platforming mechanics and clever puzzle design.
The Prism can be played in co-op with another player, but it works perfectly well in single player. The game is still early in development, so it’s missing audio and there are still a few bugs (particularly when using the duplicator), but if you get stuck you can just press ‘Backspace’ to reset the level. It’s an intelligent puzzle platformer, with a great pixel art graphical style (especially when you get to the 2nd world) and lots of interesting ideas.
