The Supper: New Blood is a cannibalistic cooking point and click adventure where a hotel owner judges their guests for their sins, then kills and cooks them if they’re deemed unworthy.
A sequel to the excellent The Supper (free on Steam) The Supper: New Blood is a darkly humorous point and click adventure from Octavi Navarro (creator of The Midnight Scenes series). In the game you follow the story of Stewie S. Appleton – the grandson of the protagonist in The Supper and the proprietor of the Twin Sisters Motel (which looks uncannily like a famous motel from a certain Hitchcock movie). Stewie has had enough of the abuse he gets from guests, so he resorts to some rather drastic measures to make sure they get what they deserve – he’s going to cook them!
The demo takes around 15 minutes to play through and features two guests (though you don’t actually get to cook them yet). It sees you attempting to recreate Stewie’s grandmother’s truth serum which he’ll use to learn the guest’s dark secrets so he can judge them (and eventually cook them). The puzzles are fairly simple, but fun and the pixel artwork is excellent throughout. Plus if the first guest is anything to go by, it’s going to be a real pleasure serving up some justice to your guests!
