These Darker Tides is a tense CCTV horror game where you need to monitor and protect deep sea cables from sharks and monsters from the deep.
In These Darker Tides you are a new employee at a deep sea facility that’s constantly under attack from deep sea creatures. You have five different video feeds to monitor and if you see a creature gnawing on the nearby cables then you need to fire off a flare to scare them away. You’ll also need to find time to restock flairs, repair cameras and complete other tasks as they come along too.
The gameplay is pretty much FNaF style video feed monitoring and time management, but the deep sea setting makes for a fun take on the genre and the scares feel less cheap than Freddy’s outings. Plus you get to check out some cool underwater wildlife while you’re there!
