TIL THEY CROAK is a melee-only boomer shooter where you fight through rooms of enemies while clobbering them to keep your heart from exploding, brawling floor by floor with body-mod upgrades to hunt down whoever planted that bomb in your chest.
In TIL THEY CROAK you’ll mix leans and punches to jab, hook, uppercut and ground pound your way through the police state in the Under City, and ascend the floating overcity’s experimental lab. You have just 10 seconds to clear each floor before your heart detonates, though every kill grants extra time while taking hits costs precious seconds. You can mofigy yourself with arm replacements, tongue augmentations, and heart injections that build powerful synergies.
Challenging bosses await at the end of each act, demanding mastery of your froggy combat skills. It is a roguelite, but death only resets your current act, not everything (so you won’t lose all your progress). Sign up to hop into the playtest!
