Tinykin is a delightful looking Pikmin-esque puzzle platforming adventure where you gather and use hundreds of little creatures as you make your ant-sized character make his way through a giant human world.
In Tinykin you follow the adventure of Milo, a space adventurer who ends up on a mysterious planet that looks a lot like Earth. The big differences being that there are no humans about, he is way too small for the massive environment and it appears to be the year 1991. As you explore the giant world you’ll enlist the aid of lots of little creatures called Tinykin, who have unique skills that come in handy for many different occasions – such as hurling them at moveable objects to making them form giant ladders.
The Tinykin horde-commanding gameplay looks a little similar to Pikmin, but there’s also much more of a focus on action and platforming as you explore its big little world. As you explore the game’s world (which is set inside a giant house), you’ll solve puzzles, meet civilizations created by different types of bugs, collect upgrades and climb ever-higher in search of answers about the strange place.
It’s been too long since Nintendo have released a Pikmin game so Tinykin is a very welcome prospect, and it has plenty of fun ideas and personality of its own. Sign up for the Beta for a chance to be one of the first to step foot into its giant world.
