Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is the next game to join Ubisoft’s long-running first-person shooter franchise and is set to release on December 1st, 2015 for current generation consoles and PC. Rainbow Six Seige promises to take its multiplayer matches to the next level with intense firefights and level design to meet any strategy-enthusiast’s wildest expectations.
In order to prepare their servers for Rainbow Six Seige’s official launch, the developers are hosting one final run of Open Beta testing from November 25th through November 29th. The Open Beta contains new content, including a new map, three new Russian Spetsnaz operators, and one new play mode. Competitive Multiplayer (PvP) returns once again with two match styles, a room control mode and a bomb defender/defuser mode. Terrorist Hunt (PvE) is a new cooperative mode available during the Open Beta where you and your team must infiltrate a base and disarm two bombs while dealing with attacks from the computer-controlled White Masks.
If you’d like to participate, you’re able to pre-load the game right now and play on the 25th (and if you participated in the Closed Beta testing back in September, you’ll be able to start playing a day early on today). You’ll be able to access the Open Beta download on the Playstation Store, the Xbox Games Store, and Ubisoft’s Uplay service.
Note: Your progression and rank in multiplayer will not carry over from the Open Beta to the game when it launches.
