Truck Driver – Beta Sign Up

Truck Driver allows you to step into the shoes of a long distance trucker, as you fuel up and roll out across a vast open world, taking on jobs, customizing your truck, buying new trucks and building stronger relationships with the local communities you visit.

Currently in development by the team behind Real Farm, Truck Driver aims to give players the ultimate authentic truck driving experience. It focuses on allowing you to build a career as a trucker. You start the game as a contractor and work your way up the ladder by fulfilling jobs and making a name for yourself among the community. The more you are trusted, the heavier and more valuable cargo you’ll be given to transport, earning more cash in the process.

Truck Driver is coming to PS4, Xbox One and Steam, though it’s likely that the Beta is only for Steam (the sign up page doesn’t specify). It’ll allow you to travel through a vast open world filled with beautiful country landscapes and fully explorable cities. As you earn cash you’ll be able to buy new trucks and customize them with a wide variety of cosmetic and performance enhancing parts to make your dream ride.

It’s clearly aimed at a niche audience, but it’s a promising game and the devs are keen to deliver as authentic an experience as possible – even going as far as to get feedback from real-life truckers that they can use to shape the game. You don’t have to be a trucker to sign up for the Beta, but you will need some keen eyesight to spot the secret Beta sign up link in the Trailer!
