Turbo Overkill is a fast, fun, brutal and over the top cyberpunk boomer shooter where you use big guns and a chainsaw leg to shred your way through enemies.
Currently in development by Trigger Happy Interactive, Turbo Overkill is very much the game that you expect a game called “Turbo Overkill” to be. It’s very fast, very gory and tons of retro run ‘n gun fun. The game starts with you dropping on top of an enemy and shredding them with your chainsaw-augmented leg, and it doesn’t get any less brutal from there.
The levels in Turbo Overkill take place in a large cyberpunk city and are filled with enemies to dispatch and secrets to discover. The guns are big, do some serious damage and have unlockable alt-fire modes, but perhaps your best asset is your chainsaw augmented leg. At any time you can press Ctrl to slide feet first along the ground, with the chainsaw chopping up anyone foolish enough to be standing in your way.
The demo build of Turbo Overkill features three large levels and bonus levels and cheats that are unlocked via collectibles. It’s an adrenaline-fuelled ride from start to finish, making you feel like a badass cyberpunk Doomslayer as you rip n’ tear your way through the neon-filled streets. It has everything you could want from a modern boomer shooter and a whole lot more. Highly recommended.
