Unbox is a fun blend of racing and silliness reminiscent of Mario Kart and Super Monkey Ball, in which you race, collect items and compete in deathmatches in ultra mobile, self propelling cardboard boxes.
The boxes of Unbox are surprising agile, able to roll and jump and boost-jump through levels at breakneck speeds. As well as the single player modes, there’s a big emphasis on chaotic multiplayer modes, perfect for local multiplayer madness.
It’s a good looking, silly and fun box-based experience (especially in multiplayer) that certainly proves it’s hip to be square.
