Usual June is a narrative-driven third-person supernatural action adventure where a young woman spends her summer preventing a space-time cataclysm that could end existence.
In Usual June you are a young woman named June who has the ability to see anomalies and talk to ghosts. One day she encounters a ghost called Teddy and ends up on a multi-dimensional adventure that could prevent the end of the world.
The gameplay in Usual June features a mixture of exploration, basic puzzle solving, witty dialogue and combat. Aside from the robotic voicework, it’s a lot of fun, with great characters, an interesting story and a very cool Into The Spider-Verse low frame-rate visual style. There’s nothing usual about the world of Usual June.
Note: At the moment the game has placeholder Simlish-style voicework. It’s VERY bad, but you can turn it off in the options menu.
