Valorant is a very slick looking new multiplayer tactical FPS from the creators of League of Legends, where characters with unique abilities face off in 5v5 battles.
Currently in development by Riot Games (creators of League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra), Valorant aims to blend the Overwatch style hero shooter with the CoD style tactical shooter to create an FPS where creativity is your greatest weapon. Matches are 5v5 affairs and each character has their own unique hypernatural powers that can mean taking them out isn’t as simple as just aiming and pulling the trigger.
Obviously Riot Games know how to make a good competitive multiplayer game, but they’re pulling out all the stops with Valorant. It promises to be a fast and silky smooth experience – able to run at over 144 frames per second and dedicated 128-tick servers located around the world that should mean delays of less than 35ms. There’s a good chance this game is going to be big, so sign up for the Beta to be one of the first to check it out!
To sign up for the Valiant Beta you need to have a Twitch account and register for a Riot account, then link your Riot account to your Twitch account. Then when the Beta activates in your region (EU and NA only on the 7th of April) you need to watch specific Valorant closed Beta streams highlighted on Twitch. You can read the full details here.
