Wake Up takes some very interesting twists as you solve puzzles and avoid monsters in a retro low poly dreamworld that draws inspiration from Twin Peaks, Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
Harkening back to the glory days of survival horror, with fixed camera angles and tank controls, Wake Up sees you sees you trying to navigate in a bizarre PS1-era styled nightmarish dream world. You’ll need to solve tricky puzzles and avoid the freaky monsters that stalk the environments as your adventure starts to blur the line between fiction and reality.
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, Wake Up is a very tense experience, with some fantastic audio/visual design which completely nails the dreamlike atmosphere the game is going for. Much like in a dream, you travel to locations without quite knowing how you got there and you never truly panic when being chased by the monsters as you know in the back of your head it’s not real (or at least you hope it’s not real!)
It’s a fantastic little horror adventure with clever puzzle design, stylish retro aesthetics and a surreal dreamlike game world that takes you to some very unexpected places. This nightmarish horror adventure really won’t put you to sleep. Highly recommended.

I seriously LOVED this game. Honestly the best game I’ve found on this site yet (although I may just be swooning at all the Twin Peaks references) I’m releasing it on my YouTube and part 1 (of 4) went live this morning.
