Yo! Noid 2: Enter the Void is the best/worst sequel that you never wanted, taking The Noid on a Playstation One-era inspired 3D platforming adventure as he ventures into The Void.
In Yo! Noid 2: Enter the Void you control The Noid as he ventures into The Void after losing his Yo-Yo. What follows is a surprisingly fun and (unsurprisingly) frustrating third person puzzle platformer that plays a little like a Mario 64-style 3D platformer mixed with Tomb Raider-style puzzle solving.
There’s an acceptable (and probably deliberate) amount of jank to the game, particularly with the camera movement when swinging on your Yo-Yo, but on the whole Yo! Noid 2: Enter the Void is a far better game than The Noid really deserves. It’s crap, but in a good way, offering up a surprisingly solid puzzle platforming adventure with a few fun surprises and some very challenging level design. It does frustrate at times, but you’ve really got to expect that from a game based on an 80’s Domino’s Pizza ad campaign. There’s no need to avoid this Noid adventure.
